Behind the Scenes: Lalè’s Magical Fairy First Birthday Party

At Lalèlilly - Luxury Inflatables & Balloon Decor, we’re not just a business, we’re a family. Our little girl, Lalè, recently celebrated her first birthday, and we had the privilege of creating a magical fairy-themed party for her that was as much a personal experience as a professional one.

As a family business, we pour our hearts into everything we do, and that day was no different. Watching our daughter explore and enjoy the space we transformed was priceless. The Setup Journey

It all started early in the morning, as we began working on the display. I put together the backdrop boards, carefully aligning each piece so everything would be in place for the perfect fairy-themed setting. Adding those special little details, like delicate flower arrangements, balloons and cutouts, it’s what brings everything to life.

But, it’s not just about the decor. It’s about ensuring every element of the day is seamless. While I worked on the finer touches, Fabes took charge of setting up the bouncy castle, the ballpit and the DJ booth. He’s the one who ensures that every inflatable is safe, secure, and ready for the fun to begin. Watching Lalè toddle around and observe us at work was a sweet reminder of why we do what we do - creating memories that last.

Next up, I moved on to the soft play setup. Soft play is always a favorite for the little ones, and I took extra care to arrange the pieces so they’d be ready for a fun-filled afternoon of laughter and play. From the foam blocks to the play mats, everything had to be perfect, and even with a little one in tow, we made sure each detail was given the attention it deserved.

The Reality of Event Setups

Setting up an event is always a blend of hard work, attention to detail, and a little bit of chaos. But this was more than just setting up for a client, it was our daughter’s special day. We knew we had to give it the same level of love and care that we dedicate to every event, no matter how big or small.

Our family dynamic came through in every part of the setup. Lalè was there, doing her little thing, running around, exploring, and even sneaking a peek at the soft play equipment before anyone else got to it! Watching her excitedly discover the space we created was such a joy. It reminded us of why we do this, not just to build incredible events, but to make memories that our family and others will cherish forever.

Running a family business is an adventure, and seeing our daughter surrounded by the magic we create is the greatest reward. From the early morning setup to the final reveal, it’s all about dedication, teamwork, and the love we put into everything we do.
